Americans for Veterans Brochure
Completed: Spring 2016
Project Description: Using Adobe InDesign, I created this brochure in conjunction with my media kit for multimedia writing for public relations. This brochure was created for a class project and it is based off a fictional client. Growing up in a military family has fueled my passion for giving back to our nation's heroes and I currently volunteer with a nonprofit organization that benefits military families. From these experiences, Americans for Veterans was born. Additionally, I created Americans for Veterans logo as well as all information found on this brochure. By clicking the brochure thumbnail below on the left, my full Americans for Veterans brochure will open in a new tab. You can also access this brochure on the WordPress blog I created for my complete media kit.
Completed: Spring 2015
Project Description: In Family and Consumer Sciences, an elective course, we learned different techniques beneficial for marketing ourselves. We were responsible for creating a personal marketing brochure that gave employers a glimpse into who we are. I created this brochure using Pages, the Apple Ecosystem software. After creating the brochure, I exported it as an Adobe PDF so it could be easily viewed across different applications. I chose to use Pages because I was familiar with the system, it provided brochure templates and I created it prior to learning Adobe InDesign. While Pages worked well, looking back with full knowledge of InDesign, this would have been the ideal program to use. Since creating this personal marketing brochure, I have updated information found in the brochure. Click on the thumbnail below on the right to access my full marketing brochure. You can also access this brochure on my LinkedIn profile.
