During college, I was fortunate enough to work for a communications agency, a marketing and hospitality group through FOX Sports and a retail boutique in inventory and shipping.   • Content Manager at PANALITIX

    PANALITIX is a global practice management business that helps professional service firms build successful businesses for themselves as well as their clients. We help firms achieve their goals by assessing their strengths and weaknesses in key business areas including attracting clients, managing clients, product portfolio, team engagement and business processes. PANALITIX provides educational content, business technology and support from our expert team.

    As content manager, I am the spearhead for all written communications and marketing materials. My responsibilities include:

  • Sara Turnley Consulting

    I have always had an interest in social media marketing and analyzing market trends through user engagment. More recently, I became intrigued with web development, quickly learning multiple languages including, but not limited to, HTML, CSS, SQL, Sass and JavaScript. Wanting to share my interests with others I launched Sara Turnley Consulting, specalized in social media marketing and web development. With a drive to learn, I constantly work to enhance my web development skills and learn new techniques.

    As a consultant, it is my goal to assist and provide improvements for client's social media and marketing campaigns as well as instruct clients on website maintenance and develop websites for clients. I have experience working with individuals, companies and nonprofit organizations.

  • Moroch Partners

    Moroch Partners is a full-service, independent marketing and communications agency headquartered in Dallas, TX. From media to multicultural and public relations to planning and analytics, Moroch works with clients from all industries including, but not limited to, Walt Disney, Midas, Coca-Cola and FedEx.

    From March through September 2016, I interned with Moroch in their Tidewater regional office in Norfolk, VA. The Tidewater region works with clients in Norfolk, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Hampton, NC; and the surrounding areas. McDonald’s was the primary client I worked with, but through our partnership I also had the opportunity to work with the Norfolk chapter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

    Through this public relations internship, I gained experience in each section of a complete PRCM and marketing portfolio. One of my main responsibilities was creating media content, building strategic content calendars and scheduling posts on multiple social media platforms for our client. I researched industry trends, local insights and vendor partners to provide a viewpoint for the account team. I developed communications materials utilized in the execution of events and to secure local media coverage. Additionally, I assisted with the day-to-day development of client projects and account management activities. This internship introduced me to Hootsuite, Social Studio, Vocus and SharePoint. Moroch provided me with experience working in the public relations industry and applicable knowledge that will be beneficial in my future endeavors.

  • Auburn Sports Properties

    Auburn Sports Properties is owned and operated by FOX Sports, the official worldwide marketer for Auburn University Athletics. As a division of the FOX Sports College Properties, Auburn Sports Properties is the exclusive marketer for Auburn Sports programming, communications, corporate hospitality and media.

    From August 2016 through April 2017, I had the privilege to work with Auburn Sports Properties Corporate Hospitality team. Through this job, I partnered with FOX Sports and Auburn Athletic Department to host Auburn corporate sponsors. I had the opportunity to work with sponsors including, but not limited to, Golden Flake, Coca-Cola, Verizon, UPS, Chevron and Regions Bank. I worked in a fast-paced environment accompanying 100+ individuals and sponsors. I also had the responsibility of ensuring our corporate sponsors were taken care of and monitoring Auburn Sports Properties suites.

    This position provided me the unique opportunity of witnessing the communications and marketing industry for a major corporation like FOX Sports. Additionally, I had the ability to meet successful former Auburn Athletes who laid the foundation for our SEC program. Working for Auburn Sports Properties enhanced my event management skills and prepared me for work in a fast-paced environment.

  • The Mint Julep Boutique

    The Mint Julep Boutique is the fastest-growing online women's retailer in the United States. Originally an online boutique only, The Mint Julep recently opened their first storefront in Auburn, but still runs primarily online. The Mint Julep receives orders from across the United States and has a constantly growing follower base on all social media platforms.

    While working at The Mint, from August 2016 through April 2017, I was a member of the shipping department and inventory team. I worked with the shipping and inventory departments to pull and package orders for customers. I worked in a fast-paced environment assisting other teams in meeting goals and quotas. The Mint utilized teamwork, communication and time management skills. It also provided me with the ability to work in a specified time limit to meet quotas and customer needs.
